New Beginnings

It's only the beginning now
...a pathway fully known
At times the sound of other steps
...sometimes just walk alone

The best beginnings of my life
May sometimes end in sorrow
But even in the darkest days
The sun will shine tomorrow.

So always do our very best
Whatever life may bring
And look beyond this winter chill
To smell the breath of spring.

Into each life will always come
A time to start something new
A new beginning for each heart
As fresh as the morning dew.

Although the cares of life are great
And hands are bowed so low
The storms of life will leave behind
The wonder of a beautiful rainbow.

The years will never take away
The chance to start this new
It's only the beginning now
My dreams will surely come true.
